essere altrimenti: una parte rilevante del vino in Italia \u00e8 prodotto da aziende di vignaioli indipendenti (intesi come aziende di piccole-medie dimensioni che seguono personalmente la produzione, dalla vigna fino alla bottiglia finita).\">It could not be otherwise: a large part of the wine in Italy is produced by independent winegrowers (meaning small to medium sized companies who take care personally the production, from the vineyard to the finished bottle). <\/span><span title=\"Nonostante questo finora era una categoria senza voce, con la politica del vino dominata dai grandi gruppi e dalle cooperative.\">Despite this so far it was a category voiceless, with wine policy dominated by large groups and cooperatives. <\/span><span title=\"FIVI \u00e8 nata come la voce di noi vignaioli e ha gi\u00e0 ottenuto alcuni traguardi importanti (anche se la strada \u00e8 ancora lunga e tortuosa). \">FIVI was born as the voice of winegrowers and has already achieved some important goals (although the road is still long and winding).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span title=\"Non sottovalutiamo cosa \u00e8 FIVI e cosa \u00e8 riuscita a fare finora.\">It is important not underestimate FIVI and what has managed to do so far. <\/span><span title=\"E quello costruito fino ad adesso deve essere mantenuto perch\u00e8 niente \u00e8 scontato e i traguardi raggiunti possono dissolversi senza l'impegno di tutti. \">And that built up to now must be maintained because nothing is taken for granted and the achievements can be dissolved without the commitment of all.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span title=\"FIVI \u00e8 riuscita a tenere insieme tante anime diverse, tutti uniti intorno alla figura del vignaiolo indipendente, senza porre paletti alla filosofia produttiva che ognuno ha deciso di seguire.\">FIVI has managed to hold together so many different souls, all united around the figure of the independent winegrower, without placing stakes on production philosophy that everyone has decided to follow. <\/span><span title=\"Questo non \u00e8 affatto banale.\">This is not trivial. <\/span><span title=\"Il grosso rischio (all'italiana, diremmo) \u00e8 di chiudersi ciascuno nella propria piccola &quot;parrocchia&quot;, utile magari sul piano promozionale o altro ma poco influente su quello politico.\">The big risk (it is common in Italy) it is to close each in their own small clan, maybe useful on the promotional plan or another but little influence on the political one. <\/span><span title=\"Senza unit\u00e0 saremmo anche senza voce (dove conta). \">Without unity we would also voiceless (where it counts).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span title=\"Tutti noi vignaioli puntiamo ad una produzione di eccellenza, fatta nel rispetto della Terra e dei nostri clienti finali.\">We all winegrowers are aiming for a production of excellence, made in respect of the Earth and of our customers. <\/span><span title=\"Tuttavia possono esserci diverse vie per cercare di arrivare alla meta.\">However there may be different ways to try to reach the goal. <\/span><span title=\"Tutti noi crediamo profondamente in quella che abbiamo scelto ma \u00e8 anche importante cercare di mantenere la mente aperta, senza chiudersi in posizioni intransigenti verso scelte diverse, fatte con onest\u00e0 e che puntano nella stessa direzione. \">We all believe deeply in what we chose but it is also important to try to keep an open mind, with no narrow-mindednesse in intransigent positions towards different choices, made with honesty and pointing in the same direction.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span title=\"Per questo ringraziamo di cuore i primi che hanno creduto e costruito la FIVI con questi principi.\">For this we sincerely thank the first who believed in and built the FIVI with these principles.
