The sea and other bodies of water

The islands which make up the Tuscan archipelago - Elba, Capraia and Gorgona - can be seen from the coast. On especially clear days even the outline of Corsica can be seen.

This so called “Etruscan Coast” is famous for the beauty and cleanliness of its beaches and sea and lack of excessive tourism. Marina di Castagneto, San Vincenzo, the island of Elba, Marina di Bibbona, Vada, Castiglioncello, are a few examples of this.

At Venturina, a few kilometers south of Castagneto on the island of Elba one can treat oneself to the luxury of a thermal bath.
